v3.0

Date: James is injured in action in the Langemark/Poelkapelle (Broenbeek River is mentioned) area of Flanders. This would have been sometime in late September to early/mid October 1917.

Rooms: Compare the size of the drawing room with that shown in Season One (e.g. The Mistress and the Maids). Note that the drawing room has a door on the right at the window end of the room.

Faggots (20'24") are large meatballs, made from pork offal and usually served in gravy.

Goof: If you look behind Hudson, on the right of the screen at 30'14", you can see a member of the studio (in a red top and white flared trousers) with a 35mm stills camera around his neck. This is presumably the publicity-stills photographer. The front of a studio TV camera can be seen alongside him.

Goof: When Edward and Daisy take refuge under the stairs, there is a lighted oil lamp already awaiting them (34'57").

Mr Hudson background: 36'35" is the first time we see him in his policeman's tunic. Prior to this, he has simply worn a jacket and collar for his police work. He has become (or has always been?) a sergeant.

The destruction of the airship was UpDown's only model shot (39'49"). Given the standards of model work on TV at the time, it is none too bad, but the skyline looks more like the East End than what you would expect to see from a Belgravia window.

Goof: In the telegram that arrives, James' middle initial is given as "H" (48'50"). However, in Board Wages his middle name was given as Rupert.
