The little, bald man who is crouched in the doorway as James enters the soup kitchen – is that Jackie Wright from The Benny Hill Show? (7'25")

Goof: Twice in this episode (12'10" & 20'46") Sarah mentions that it is three years since she left Eaton Place (in Board Wages). In fact, it is a bit over four years (August 1904 to autumn 1908). (Thanks to Arne Andersen for sending this one in.)

Goof: At 23'28", Pauline Collins: "Oh Rose, I've thought about you lots while we were away." We? (Thanks to Tony Murray for this.)

Goof: Pauline Collins: "We met all kinds of un... interesting people." (25'25")

Sarah background: She can now write "a bit". During the séance, she gives the name of her (deceased) father (who is acting as one of her spirit guides) as (Arthur) Huggins (cf. A Pair of Exiles and the Thomas & Sarah episode A Day At The Metropole).

Goof: During the séance, there is a cutaway shot of Mrs Bridges telling the others to "shush". In this shot, Sarah is sat upright and stationary. In the front shots shown before and after she is bent over the table, waving her arms about. (35'02")

Goof: Sarah snuffs out her candle, but the "light" stays on for another second or so (50'55").
