v3.1

Confused by the plot? The official LWT synopsis might help!

Date: October 1908 (from opening caption).

Rooms: A polygonal games room is shown to lead off from the morning room on the side opposite the fireplace. This was the only time this room was shown and later the same space would be shown to be occupied by Richard's study.

Goof: Nicola Pagett: "So that she could put it all back together again bef... when she came back from Southwold?" (21'36")

Geoffrey Whitehead (here playing Captain Axel Ryttsen) would later turn up in the Thomas & Sarah episode A Day At The Metropole.

Goof: Edward must be deaf not to hear Kraft throw the cigar case onto the stairs (25'28").

Goofs: When Ryttsen takes the card from the old lady, we see the bottom of the deck seems to have a black card. When Ryttsen then deals from the bottom of the pack, he deals red cards. Then he puts the remainder of the cards down on the table in one pile. A few moments later, he fans out two piles of cards that are sitting on the table. (35'29")

Goof: The white cuff on Sarah's uniform is suddenly seen to be unfastened and then drops off completely (47'26"). (Thanks to Lois A Graham for spotting this – a good one!)
